I did actually start wallpapering as an apprentice. I did the mop and bucket work. Sponge work. Started as summer work with a friend of the family. Back when the most popular musical listening device was a Walkman – it would play a cassette tape, my friend – and it was the latest greatest thing. If you’re counting fingers, trying to figure out how long ago that was, you’re out of fingers.
